‘Forget Me. Not’ is a bit of an experiment. It was created as a way to explore and reflect the impact of dementia. The player moves through the world, collecting memories and avoiding danger. As the player completes their quest everything starts to go wrong; memories become corrupt and are lost forever. The player loses memories of key events, family members and eventually basic functioning after which the struggle becomes overwhelming.
The game was created in Unity over about a week of development from start to finish.
